What are my restrictions while on Academic Probation?

Ans. If your college affiliation (home school) is the Newark College of Arts and Sciences, school 21, you are limited to enrolling in only 12 credits each semester. If your home school is University College, school 62, the maximum amount of credits that can be taken is 6 credits each semester. Some students may be placed on an Academic Contract which will outline and monitor their academic progress toward attaining an acceptable grade point average. The contract may include additional restrictions (limitations on summer and winter course enrollments, mandatory enrollment of certain courses, referrals to certain support groups, etc.). Failure to comply with the contract may put students in jeopardy of being academically dismissed. Contracts will be voided once the student is off probation.
