Section 6.1.8 of the policy on investment planning and acquired services states: “Key federal stakeholders are informed of the department’s planned investments including, but not limited to, central agencies, relevant socio-economic departments and common service providers.” This means that departments are expected to have a defined strategy for identifying stakeholders and keeping them informed.
