• Remove all breakable items. • Remove all items from bookshelves, cabinets, etc. • Disconnect alarms, appliances, computers, fax machines, phones, stereos, televisions, DVDs, etc. • Remove all small furniture. • Strip beds and remove items underneath them as well. • Remove all items from closet floors. • Provide adequate lighting and ventilation. • Keep children and pets out of the work areas. • Do not remove existing tack strip as it may cause floor damage (The installer will replace unusable tack strip). • Painted baseboards/walls may need touch-up painting after the installation (Our installers will be as careful as possible, but some touch up may be necessary). • Inspect the job BEFORE the installer leaves so that any small items may be tended to at that time. • Please have your FINAL BALANCE DUE available to the installer upon completion of the installation.
