What are my responsibilities as a server administrator?
• You are responsible for knowing and upholding our Terms of Service. • You are solely responsible for ensuring the security of your server. This includes installing necessary patches when appropriate and not giving away free access to your server except to those you trust implicitly. • You are responsible for supporting your virtual site users on your server. • You are responsible for uploading content to your server. Your files are not our responsibility, except to the extent defined by the Terms of Service. • You are responsible for any configuration changes you make to the server and any software you install on the server. • You are solely responsible for ensuring that your virtual sites have the appropriate DNS entries for them to function properly. If you decide to have Advantagecom Networks do DNS for you, this includes the responsibility to tell us what entries to setup, when to set them up, and whether it’s a primary and secondary DNS entry or just a secondary DNS entry.
