What are my requirements with respect to purchasing, transporting or storing halocarbon refrigerants?
The Regulations do not prevent the purchasing of refrigerants; however, this must be done in accordance with existing provincial and federal regulations. The Regulations prohibit you from storing, transporting, or purchasing a halocarbon unless it is in an appropriate container. 4 This document explains some of the requirements of the Federal Halocarbon Regulations, 2003.
