If you are charged with a civil infraction traffic ticket you may: A) PAY THE CIVIL PENALTY. Points will be assessed against your license when applicable. You may pay in person, by mail, Online or by phone. Payment can be in the form of cash, check, money order or by Visa or MasterCard. If you are paying by mail, send your payment to P.O. Box 02-5450, Miami, FL. 33102-5450. Be sure to include the yellow citation along with the driver license number and defendants name to ensure proper payment application. DO NOT SEND CASH IN THE MAIL. If you are paying by using your Visa or MasterCard, you must indicate which credit card you are using, enter the credit card number, the expiration date, print your name as it appears on the credit card and sign your name. Please be aware, should the clerk receive your payment more than 30 days from the issue date you may be subject to a driver license suspension by the State of Florida.
