What are my options for adding or dropping classes after schedules are completed?
Brophy takes very seriously the course request process, so we hope that by the time schedules are completed and sent home, they are correct. There is of course the opportunity to correct any mistakes in that process, as well as a little wiggle room in the event that a student has a change of mind or heart. In short, students can send an email from their Brophy email address to scheduling@brophyprep.org with their issue or question after they receive their schedules. The Director of Scheduling, Mr. Oldani, will make any adjustments necessary to mistakes on a student’s schedule; this may happen over the summer or when school offices open in August. For simple elective change requests, it will depend on whether the change can be made cleanly or not. If the change requires a variety of class periods and teachers to shift, then our practice is not to change schedules just for elective requests. Students have through the first week of the school year to request schedule changes, but obviousl
