I think you’ll be fine. Unlike sitcoms, you don’t need to be president of every club and captain of every sports team and still have a 4.0 to get into college. If you’re worried, apply for community college and transfer your credits. I’m a senior in college now and I WISH I had done that because I have no idea how I’m going to pay back all these student loans. It’s kind of funny that you mentioned all those schools b/c I’m from Baltimore and know people from UMBC and I go to college in VA and know several people from VA Tech. If you’re fortunate enough not to have to pay, then go wherever you can go for free.
