What are my chances of having another set of premature twins?
Sorry to hear that your little girl passed away. Almost eight weeks ago i was rushed in for an emergency ceasarean and had my little girl who was 7 weeks premature (shes happy and healthy now). I had an appointment with my doctor last week who reassured me that the chances of having another premature baby were very slim. It depends what the reasons for the girls being born early were. I had placenta praevia (diagnosed at 27 weeks) and then went on to develop pre-eclampsia. Both illnesses were not of any fault of mine and i was told it would be unlikely that i develop pre-eclampsia again and that every precaution would be taken to avoid praevia. Get a second opinion from another doctor to put your mind at ease and take as much rest as you can. Good luck with your pregnancy and fingers crossed you dont develop any complications.
