WHAT ARE MY CHANCES OF BEING ACCEPTED TO IUSD AFTER ONLY 3 YEARS OF COLLEGE?

The entering class of 2008 included only one student who completed three years of undergraduate coursework, and their average GPA was 3.55. Most applicants accepted to IUSD earn a baccalaureate degree prior to entering dental school. If undergraduate students complete 90 semester hours (135 quarter hours), including all Arts & Sciences requirements (humanities, language, etc.) they may be eligible to receive a B.S. degree after their first year of dental school. Bachelor’s degrees are granted from your undergraduate campus, not the dental school. Check with your undergraduate advisor to see if such a program is offered at your campus, if interested. Students in the 2008 entering class completed an average of 153.3 credit hours at the time of matriculation.
