Did your university send you a questionnaire type paper to fill out regarding personalities for rooming purposes? I know my university does that so they can try and place you in a room with compatible personalities. Even so, roommate issues are VERY common. You could always request to be put into a single room, too! That’s what I did. I wasn’t about to deal with the roommate issues and being expected to live with a complete STRANGER………So I had my doctor send residence life a paper saying that I need a single-person living space because of my ADD………..so if you have anything like that, use it! I see more people NOT get along with their roommate(s) than I see become friends with them………….
