What are my chances for admission to The University of Montana?
That’s a tough question, which does not have a straightforward answer. Admission is dependent primarily on undergraduate GPA and GMAT scores, with letters of recommendation and experience receiving considerable weight. One of the most important factors, and also the most difficult to predict is the availability of openings. The total number of students in each of the graduate programs at each campus is limited to maintain a quality education. As a result, we find that we are unable to accept all of the well-qualified applicants who apply. An admission index is calculated that combines your undergraduate GPA with your GMAT score using the equation: Index = GMAT + 200 times GPA. For example, if your GPA was 3.39 and your GMAT score was 530, your index would be 530 + 200(3.39) = 1208. The table below can be used as an approximate guide to your chances of admission.
