What are my Business Obligations as a Sales Consultant?
You are responsible for filing all necessary tax forms. As a sales consultant for Naughty Parties you are an independent contractor. Therefore, as an independent contractor, Naughty Parties is under no obligation to collect or pay unemployment benefits, collect or pay Federal income tax on your behalf, or collect from you to pay any federal agency within this country on your behalf. It is your responsibility, as a contractor to legally adhere to these obligations yourself and negligence on your part to do so will not invoke legal responsibility on the part of Naughty Parties.
