All airlines permit 2 pieces of checked baggage at 70 lbs per bag in international Trans-Atlantic flights. Within Europe and within Ukraine the limit on domestic flights is 40 lbs per person – ONE PIECE of checked baggage. This means, that by arriving in Kyiv from USA, with a connecting flight to Crimea or Lviv, you might have to pay overweight charges for your second piece. The rate is about $1.00USD per kilo.
