What are motivational times?

0

Motivational times are a great way for your swimmer to set goals. They are based on age groups and events. When a swimmer competes at a meet they will receive a time and that time may fall within the motivational time standards. Motivational times are used to help a swimmer reach a goal of a “B” time. Example: an 10& Under Girls 50 Yard Free “B” time is 39.79, “BB” time is 35.99, “A” 32.19. After they reach that goal they then want to try for a “BB”, “A”, “AA” with each time getting faster. When you sign up for the team you will receive a copy of the motivational time standards. At the end of the competitive season if your swimmer has received a motivational “A” time they can compete in the “A” championships held in March.
