What are motion control shoes?
Motion Control shoes are a more maximum control than stability shoes. They incorporate a lager medial post or dual density midsole on a straighter last than the less stable semi-curved last found in most stability shoes. Motion Control shoes are for severe over-pronators or people who rotate to far inward in their gait cycle even in a traditional stability shoe. Depending on other elements of the shoe, they can range from soft to firm and vary in cost.
Motion Control Shoes are Recommended for runners who are moderate to severe overpronators and need maximum rearfoot control and extra support on the medial (arch) side of their shoes. These shoes are also best suited for big or heavy runners who need plenty of support.
