What are mortal sins and venial sins?
Those sins committed with the full consent of the will are mortal. Those sins committed without the full consent are venial. What is the sin against the Holy Spirit? If a person reaches a stage in which that person is so hardened that he cannot repent, any sin committed by him is a sin against the Holy Spirit.
