What are modern FARMING tools (not computers and technology) that would have helped in the dust bowl?
modern farming tools would be farming technology some tools that are used now could be even the tread on the tractor tires, some tread tears up the ground more so than others (for traction) today, combines are more advanced than they were back then, they harvest more off the wheat plant and i believe that more of the plant is left in the ground also, the use of cover crops is used very frequently now- the use of cover crops helps replace any nutrients that was taken out of the soil from the crop that is harvested for money/profit. cover crops also has other use- like it helps the soil not erode away during the ‘off’ season too another thing is shifting from plowing to no-till.
