What are minors?
In addition to the major course work, each student will take a focused collection of a minimum of four courses, which either provides a second, mini-depth area or allows the student to pursue study related to the major. Students are free to take any minor as long as it does not have the same name as the major; for example, a mathematics major would not be able to use a mathematics minor to satisfy the minor requirements. Minors may be either disciplinary or interdisciplinary.
