What are Mica Tattoos?
Mica Tattos are a very recent addition to body art. They are applied in two layers. The base layer is a temporary tattoo ink. Colored powders are applied over the ink, once it cures. These powders reflect a shiny “metallic” look over the black ink, giving the impression of weathered metal. This form of temporary tattoo is very popular with the boys. Mica Tattoos will last approximately 3 – 5 days depending upon the care given them. When wet, they should be patted dry, rather than rubbed. To remove sooner, just use rubbing alcohol.
