What are merchant Tags?
Tags are keywords or terms that people use to search and find items. They are short, easy words that either describe the item or ways in which the item is used. The item description is a full description of the item that might include content, color, and style yet the tag might be a few short words that would allow someone to easily search for the item on a website. For example a men’s board short might have the description of “A longer version of our classic board short, 100% polyester, available in a range of colors with our signature trim and pocket detail”. Tags for this item might be “beach, surf, swim”. To tag something with more than one tag, separate each tag with a comma. You can add tags to any item from the item detail page. Click on the space under the Tags to enter or edit tags and then click Save Tags when you are finished.
