What are Males Yeast Infection Symptoms?
Yeast infection is medically known as candidiasis, candidosis, monoliasis, and oidiomycosis. It is caused by the overgrowth of any of the Candida species, which is part of the normal flora (collection of organisms that naturally live in a particular organ) of the human body as in the mouth, gut, and vagina. In controlled numbers, it doesn’t cause harm to humans. However, in cases of disruptions in the function of the immune system – such as in immunocompromised persons and decrease in the number of good bacteria in humans as in prolonged intake of antibiotics – Candida may proliferate and cause the infection.
