What are major special events in the Middle School?
All-School Events Opening Assembly On the first full day of the school year, the entire school gathers to celebrate the beginning of the new year. The Head of School addresses the school and introduces new faculty and students. Thanksgiving Assembly All students in grades K-12 gather to share thoughts and expressions of thanksgiving in songs, skits, poems, and giving to others. Holiday Assembly This assembly, held in December, is a festive and joyful gathering of our entire school community to celebrate the holidays. Blue & Gold Day and Homecoming Each fall students look forward to Blue & Gold Day and Homecoming. During Blue & Gold Day all students in grades Pre-K through 12 participate in athletic competitions between the blue team and the gold team. These events culminate in the entire school’s cheering on the seniors in their tug-of-war.
