What are Lung Nodules?
Lung nodules are small masses (about 5 mm to 25 mm in size) of tissue in the lung. They are roundin shape and can be seen as white shadows on a chest X-ray or CT scan. Lung nodules are quite common but if they are bigger in size (25mm and above), they could be cancerous. Neutrophils are main white blood cells which respond to a bacterial infection. Neutrophilia is a condition in which a person has a high number of neutrophil granulocytes in their blood. Hence the high number count can be due to bacterial infections. Congenital neutropenias may decrease in circulation of: • Marginal Blood Pools • Neutrophils • Normal Marrow Pools • Tissue Neutrophils The side effects could be seen as infections, mainly of the mucous membranes but Skin is the second most common infected thing. That could end up in skin rashes and you may see prolonged wound healing. You will need laboratory tests and doctor consultation to cure this.
