What are LTSM® minerals?
Essential and trace minerals used in dietary supplements can either come from plants or from the soil (rocks, dirt, sea shells, etc.). Soil and rock-derived (elemental) minerals carry a positive electrical charge. Minerals stored in plants carry a negative charge. Our cells carry a positive charge. Thus, plant minerals are attracted to the cells and can be more easily and more efficiently assimilated while elemental minerals require energy to change their charges so that cells can metabolically utilize them.
