What are Lightspeed’s policies on check deposits?
Checks received by Lightspeed are deposited on the same day and the funds become available for trading on the next business day. However, there are three exceptions noted below in which case the funds will not be available for trading or withdrawals until the 6th business day after deposit: • Checks in excess of $25,000. • Checks for an amount greater than the current value of the account. • Checks for funding a new account.
