What Are LASIK Enhancements?
A LASIK enhancement is a re-treatment on one or both eyes that have already received LASIK or another type of laser vision correction. It involves re-lifting the flap and having another laser treatment to correct a vision problem that was not fully corrected during the first treatment. Your LASIK eye doctor will discuss your potential for 20/20 vision during your comprehensive evaluation. After your procedure, you can discuss the potential for improved vision with LASIK enhancements. Most patients are fully satisfied with their vision after LASIK and very few of them need or desire enhancements.
