A This is somewhat of a misnomer. There is no laser involved. It is only acrylic with a thin coat of gel or sealant that is then cured in a UV light. When gel is applied over acrylic you don’t have to buff the acrylic very much and it provides a very shiny finish. It does not create a stronger nail since acrylic is already strong and one thin coat of gel is not.
