What are large quantity generators (LQG), small quantity generators (SQG) and conditionally exempt small quantity generators (CESQGs)?
EPA has identified three categories of generators based on the amounts and types of hazardous waste each generates and the degree of risk each presents to the environment: Large Quantity Generators (LQG) produce 1,000 kilograms per month or more of hazardous waste, or more than 1 kilogram per month of acutely hazardous waste.
