What are landing slots?
[top] At any airport that your airline flies to you need slots, you can obtain slots by leasing gates or purchasing a hub. Each time a plane lands or takes off at an airport it utilizes a slot regardless of the aircraft size. For example a B1900D flying Chicago to Atlanta round trip would use two slots where as an Airbus A380 flying one way New York to Paris would use one slot.
