There are different types of incinerators, the basic type burns only -solid waste, others dewater, dry and burn also -oil sludge or -the residue of the waste water treatment plant and -food waste / biosludge The ‘green ship’ philosophy leads to a ship which does not pollute the environment. At this point, there are ships that do not discharge anything into the sea than water (that would actually potable).
