What are lab-grown gemstones?
Some of my designs feature Chatham lab-grown gemstones. These are not inferior or imitation stones, they are in fact real stones that are cultured in an environment that duplicates nature’s. After creating the required combination of chemical and environmental factors these crystals grow over the course of a year with the physical, chemical & optical properties identical to those found in nature. I choose lab-grown over mined stones as a way to lessen the destruction to our eco-systems caused by mining operations and also to provide a dramatic savings in cost to my customers. ◊ CUSTOM ORDERING Do you accept custom orders?
