What are kosher snacks?

0

All Kosher foods have a logo known as the OU. Thie looks like the letter O encircled by and upside down U. This certifies that the product is Kosher. Knowing what Kosher means as stated is good but one also has to know that all Kosher food is inspected by a Rabbi who inspects it and certifies it as Kosher. Not every Rabbi can certify it as Kosher, only rabbi’s specified by the Rabbinical council can do that. So, to be sure your food or snack is Kosher, check for that OU label.

Look for the Kosher logo to the left when you need foods that are produced following the Jewish dietary laws, (called kashrut, which comes from the Hebrew word for “fit” or “proper”). Be aware however that foods labeled “Jewish” do not necessarily mean they are kosher. Always look for the Kosher logo when shopping for snacks, and to be safe, we offer a number of Kosher Snacks at Snack Warehouse.
