While PowerWedge 20, decoded Snapshot, or Series 20/Plus decoders may be connected either serially or as a keyboard wedge, the PowerWedge 10 and Mini PowerWedge cannot. A dedicated PowerWedge 10 (with a separate power supply) is required for serial use and the Mini PowerWedge can be used only as a keyboard wedge. A dedicated keyboard wedge or serial model cannot be used in a configuration other than the one for which it is designed.
