What are job opportunities for a vet tech?
Not good. Most veterinarians hire people who they train on the job because they can pay that individual less. If you are an equine vet tech, your skills are unique, but finding a job can be difficult. Suggestion: go back to college, do pre-med or pre-dental, take the MCAT or DAT, get accepted to a medical/dental school, and have the government pay for it through a program called HPSP. All fees, book, and tuition paid for AND you get $1,900 monthly to live off of.
