Internet Application Components (IACs) are R/3 transactions, function modules and reports that can be called from a Web page. Web-enabled transactions and functions are called Web transactions and WebRFCs. Normal SAP reports and lists are Web-enabled by default. IACs run with the help of the Internet Transaction Server (ITS). Several standard IACs are shipped with R/3. Customers can use them as is or modify them to meet their requirements.
