What are “Intermediate” ITIL courses?

0

The starting point for ITIL V3 certification is the Foundations Level course. This first course provides anoverview only of the basic concepts and theories related to the ITIL Service Lifecycle’s 24 processes and 4 functions. To obtain a much deeper knowledge of these processes and functions, many IT professionals continue their ITIL education by moving to an Intermediate Level course. There are a total of 9 Intermediate courses – 5 are role focused (Practitioner/Capability) and 4 are management focused (Manager/Lifecycle). Which course is chosen depends on your role, and your organization’s key business objectives.
