When verifying these requirements, inspection program personnel should seek answers to the following types of questions: Does the HACCP plan include CCPs that will prevent, eliminate, or reduce to an acceptable level any hazard presented by foreign material that the establishment identified in the hazard analysis as reasonably likely to occur?
