What are Individual Self-Reported Activities?
These are professional learning activities not usually structured as formal educational opportunities. They are planned activities that provide new knowledge or skills to the participant. Examples are: • Self-directed research. • Critical readings and reviews for formal presentations. • Participation on professional and civic advisory boards and committees. • Self-guided tours and site visits, with related presentations or deliverables. • Professional writing for review and publication. • Critical reviews of professional development materials (e.g. videos and manuals).
