What are illuminated manuscripts? Do graffiti artists really know about that stuff?
Schmoo: Living in Los Angeles, I’ve had the chance to see one of the best private collections of illuminated manuscripts at the Getty Museum. Not all graffiti writers know that kind of history, but if you showed it to them, they would be able to see the correlation. Susan: I’ve seen a gallery-issued book on graffiti art, written by Delta and others in Amsterdam.
