What are IEI charges?

IEI (Instructional Enhancement Initiative) charges are posted by the College of Letters and Science to most students in that college. The fees are based on the courses taken, and cost $7.00 per unit. These fee payments fund enhancements to the computer laboratories and eventual Web page access to all courses. The charges are not posted until close to the end of each quarter, so you must keep in mind that any financial aid you were awarded at the beginning of the quarter has already been expended and is not available to cover these fees.
