IEEE Standards Online are the IEEE’s latest service offering. You may have purchased IEEE’s printed standards before. Now IEEE approved standards, unapproved and approved draft standards are available in electronic format, on the Web to standards online subscribers. You can get the standards in topically related collections, as subscriptions. For example, if you are interested in the Local and Metropolitan Area Network standards, you would subscribe to IEEE Standards Online, LAN/MAN subscription. URL: http://standards.ieee.org/subscriptions As a subscriber, you would license the information, and you will be able to use it according to the terms in the license agreements. The subscriptions are annual. The standards are available in pdf format, and can be viewed, downloaded and printed as often as you want during the subscription year.
