What are human activities that affect the hydrological cycle?
Providing drinking water- this interrupts the normal flow of water by diverting it to you to consume Providing sewage treatment- since no sewage treatment process returns water to the earth as clean a it was originally it has disturbed the cycle. Creating any building- a roof disturbs the natural flow of rain water by covering a section of the earth that, prior to the creation of the structure, would have allowed water to soak into the soil (the same can be said for roads, parking lots etc.).
