What are homeopathic aggravations?
An aggravation is a temporary worsening of a symptom which already exists and is usually a sign that a remedy is working. In acute situations increased discomfort will probably last just a few minutes, in chronic conditions maybe a few days, rarely longer. If an aggravation occurs when you are taking a remedy then stop taking it and consult your homeopath. Generally it is best for an aggravation to run it’s course as the body throws symptoms out and rebalances itself. In rare circumstances if an aggravation continues for too long or is too debilitating, then the remedy which created the aggravation can be antidoted.
