What are home visits and house calls?
We envision a future when we can provide more care to our patents in the comfort of their own homes. Home visits could include in-home evaluation and treatment by our nursing professionals. House calls could be done by physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners. Initially the program is likely to be administered through CorHealth and will not be participating with insurance companies. We hope to introduce a pilot program in late 2008 or early 2009. We believe that more care at home can become a reality. At this time we are evaluating the interest levels of our patients. Sign up lists are available at each of our offices for patients who are interested in learning more.
