What are HOA rules?

0

HOA stands for Home Owners Association. If you live at a property that has an HOA you must follow their rules and regulations as a tenant. You will be notified upon signing of your lease if your property belongs to an HOA. Most HOA’s post their rules and regulations online. You can find some of these links below. If they do not post these rules online Allegiant Properties will provide you with HOA contact information if you would like a copy. Most HOA violations are in regards to maintaining the yard including the lawn, trees, shrubs and flower beds, moving trash and recycling receptacles out of sight on non trash pick-up days, and parking unauthorized vehicles on the property such as RV’s, boats and trailers. If your property is not in a subdivision with an HOA, you still have to follow the cities rules and regulations. You can find these regulations on your cities website.
