What are his chances of surviving leukemia?
There is no way to really tell you his chances, because we dont know his history or the type (there are several different types of leukemia). That being said, there have been MANY advances in leukemia. Its not the death sentence it used to be. I have NO way of knowing if this is so in his case, but the puffy face could be from steroids. They add in prednisone to most of the chemo today to help prevent weight loss as much as they can. Also, sometimes the chemo can cause skin irritations, so the things you are seeing arent always a bad sign.
