What are headshots?
Headshots are standard show business pictures. They are 8×10 with your name printed on the bottom and resume attached to the back. In NYC, black and white pictures are most often used. In LA, they prefer color. A headshot can be a picture of just your head & shoulders, or a 3/4 shot which shows your upper body and waist as well. There are many other kinds of photos used in show business such as comp/zed cards for modeling and even snapshots which are fine to use for little kids. Most often, though, a standard headshot is expected for all submissions.
