“HD Built-In,” “Digital Cable Ready” and “Integrated” HD TVs have an off-air DTV receiver built in that is capable of receiving digital broadcasts when connected to a standard off-air antenna. These TVs can also be connected to a digital cable HD set-top box or a satellite/broadcast capable HD set-top receiver to allow you to watch non-broadcast HD channels. The set-top cable or satellite receiver must be connected to this type of TV with analog component video cables, a digital HDMI or DVI cable and for any cable other than HDMI either stereo analog audio cables or an optical fiber cable or a wire type digital audio cable with RCA connectors.
