Hargrove gas logs are made of mixture of pre-fired, expanded clay and a special hi-temperature cement, with a wire mesh reinforcement. This combination creates a strong, ceramic material capable of withstanding extreme temperatures, yet also allows molding of the intricate detail found in Hargrove gas logs. Our Radiant Heat series logs are made of ceramic fiber, for greater heat reflectivity.
